Melbourne’s Luna Park is a galaxy of amusements and sensations.

From the jaw dropping, eye ball popping super thrill rides like the Pharoah’s Curse,
Metropolis and the Enterprise, to the exhilarating rides like the Spider, Twin Dragon, G force and Shock Drop, you’re bound to have an awesome time!
There are also plenty of rides that the family can enjoy, such as Arabian Merry,
Silly Serpent, Scenic Railway, Carousel and Red Baron. Attractions such as Street Legal Grand Prix style Dodgems enable you to test your skills and compete against your friends.

All of the rides at the park have height restrictions.  The height guide is as follows:

Under 100cm :-  6 Rides Available
100cm-104cm :- 7 Rides Available
105cm-109cm :- 7 Rides Available
110cm-119cm :- 9 Rides Available
120cm+ :- All Rides

In case of inclement weather some attractions may close.


 

 

Arabian Merry


A wonderful ride for younger children, who can ride fantastic flying elephants, and embark on a magical safari adventure!

You need to be 100 cm tall to ride alone.
Guest under 100 cm must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Accompanying adult does not require a ticket to ride.

Carousel  


Luna Park’s centrepiece, the Carousel is known as the “Jewel in the Crown”. One look at it and you’ll understand why. Visually stunning, its 70 horses and chariots are individually hand painted and intricately decorated in brilliant colours.

You need to be 105 cm tall to ride alone.
Guests under 105 cm must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Accompanying adult does not require a ticket a ticket to ride.

Enterprise 


Your mission, should you choose to accept it, begins now. All aboard the enterprise as it hurtles you into orbit. Hardcore thrill riders will be spinning with delight.

Sky Rider 


Families have been enjoying the SkyRider Ferris Wheel for generations. Witness the sweeping bay and city views from the top of the Ferris Wheel, for a true Melbourne experience.

G-Force  


Can you take the G’s?! The G Force will lift you up and spin you around like never before. Sit back, hold on to your lunch and start spinning.

Ghost Train


You can be sure you’ll be left shaking in your boots when the Luna Park ghouls get to work with their special brand of creepiness. If you weren’t afraid of the dark before, you are bound to be terrified of it once you’ve ridden the ghost train!

Holodeck

Okay space cadets, you’re off on a flight training mission in this state of the art interactive simulator. Learn to fly and battle the enemy in the futuristic simulator pod. Just make sure you don’t get lost in space…

Metropolis

Experience fast and furious clips and turns as you journey at breakneck speed into the future aboard the Metropolis. This heart thumping rollercoaster is not for the faint hearted.

Pharaoh's Curse


The ancient Egyptian's performed a miracle when they built the pyramids, their most impressive feat. That was until the "Pharaoh's Curse" came along, a thrilling ride that boasts a more impressive miracle- it's the only place in Melbourne where you can see Port Phillip Bay upside down! This vertical looping adventure is for serious riders who don't mind putting their eyeballs back in their sockets and picking their jaws off the ground when its over.

Red Baron


Younger children can get a feel for flying by boarding the cartoon style aeroplanes that soar through the air!

The Scenic Railway


The whole family can experience the thrill of the oldest continually operating roller coaster in the world. One of only nine of its kind still operating, The Scenic Railway is a Melbourne icon installed in the Park on its opening in 1912. This world famous roller coaster will not only provide you with heart - stopping dips and turns, you will also experience the most stunning views of Port Phillip Bay St Kilda has to offer.

Shock Drop

Ride Safety Restrictions and Guidelines

Your safety is important to us. To ensure uncompromising safety for each and every one of our Guests, the followinrestrictions apply to all of our rides and attractions.

Guests are unable to use our rides if they are subject to any of the following conditions:

- Heart conditions
- Back or neck problems
- Bone or muscle injuries or plaster casts
- Pregnancy
- Recent surgery

Guests with physical or other disabilities

Many of our rides generate strong physical forces or have particular safety requirements which limit their use by people with certain disabilities.

Carers of physically or mentally disabled guests who can not ride alone are able to accompany free of charge. A wristband will be issued to a nominated carer. Please see a supervisor in the Guest Relations office on arrival.

Please note that height restrictions apply to all rides and attractions at Melbourne's Luna Park.

Guests are also advised to secure all loose items 

Melbourne's Luna Park will not be responsible for articles lost, stolen or damaged whilst riding the attraction of left in the queue line. All riders must keep their arms and legs inside the car, remain seated at all times, Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times, Mobile phones and cameras cannot be taken on the ride.
