LUNA FREEZE- SKATE FOR FUN! Bring your beanie and gloves! Luna Park has an ICE SKATING RINK! From May 31, Melbourne’s Luna Park will be making the most of the winter months with the launch of ‘Luna Freeze’, Melbourne’s newest ice skating venue, in the middle of Luna Park’s Winter Wonderland. This fast-paced, icy addition will add to the Luna Park experience. It will entertain anyone who dares to don skates and hurtle over the ice to cool tunes under dazzling lights. It will also entertain the non-skaters, and guests on surrounding amusement rides, as they look on to this amazing, boutique open air arena in the centre of Luna Park. Mary Stuart, Executive Director of Luna Park says, “We are very excited and pleased to be able to bring ice skating back to St. Kilda. Many Melburnians will have fond memories of skating at nearby St. Moritz which closed its doors in the 1980’s. We hope the community enjoys this special treat which may well become a regular feature at Luna Park.” So get your skates on and push, glide or swing-roll into Luna Freeze this winter! Luna Freeze! Ice Skating Sessions Commencing 31st May 2008 - 6th October 2008 11.30am, 1.00pm, 2.30pm, 4.00pm on Luna Park operating days. Sessions include one hour of skating Cost: $14.00 per person including skate hire. Luna Park Opening Times Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays - 11.00am to 6.00pm Daily during Victorian Gazetted School Holidays - 11.00am to 6.00pm The Luna Freeze! Birthday Party Pack The Luna Freeze! Party Pack caters for a minimum of 8 children and includes the following for all children: • A One Hour Ice Skating Pass (minimum age 5) • A Helium Balloon • A Carnival Game Voucher • A Reserved Table in the Party Tram at the Specified Party Session Time • A Streets Party Food Pack Including: party pies and sausage rolls hot chips 390ml Schweppes soft drink a bag of fairy floss a Streets Paddle Pop ice cream The Birthday Child Also Receives: A Personalised Birthday Card Luna Park Birthday Badge Invitations can be downloaded in PDF format and printed from your PC, or we can supply you with 10 colour prints for $4 once we receive your booking. SESSION TIMES Lunch in the Party Tram is for 45 minutes and the ice skating session runs for 1 hour. Ice Cream Cake $15 (serves 10) Lolly cups $3.00 each Show Bags $12.95 each Invitations $4.00 per pack of 10 PAYMENT * Final numbers - are required 7 days before the party day. * Confirmation - will be sent once final payment is received. * Final Payment - May be made by cheque or credit card and must be processed prior to the party. • BIRTHDAY FAST FACTS! WET WEATHER There's no need to worry about the weather because your party session is under cover. Please note however that while we make every effort to ensure that all rides are available on your special day, due to maintenance and particular weather conditions, some rides may not be available from time to time. CANCELLATION In the event that the party is cancelled, monies will be refunded as follows: Party cancelled within 4 weeks of booking date: 100% of monies refunded. Party cancelled within 2 weeks of booking date: 0% of monies refunded. In the event of forecast rain, birthday party bookings can be transferred to another date with a minimum of 48 hours notice. PAYMENTS CANNOT BE REFUNDED. MUM & DAD, DON'T FORGET... Hats, sunscreen, cameras and supervising helpers. Remember - ENTRY TO THE PARK IS FREE! CAR PARKING Ample metre car parking is available.
